Maxine Barasch, Esq. is the principal attorney for Maxine Barasch. Ms. Barasch, a native of Albany, NY, received her Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School of Union University. After a brief excursion away, she returned to open her own practice in the heart of Tech Valley.
Ms. Barasch completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at the University at Albany in 2003. She holds an Associate of Arts from Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. Ms. Barasch graduated cum laude from both institutions.
Prior to starting her law practice in 2007, Ms. Barasch worked as a law clerk at the intellectual property law firm of Mark Levy & Associates, PLLC, located in Binghamton, NY. She later became a Registered Patent Agent for the firm, and then an associate attorney. While there, Ms. Barasch conducted practice in all areas of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights and licensing.
Ms. Barasch is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of New York State, the Federal District Court for the Northern District of New York, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She is a member in good standing of the New York State and Albany County Bar Associations, and has been inducted into the National Order of the Barristers for of her excellence in courtroom advocacy.
Ms. Barasch is the founder and immediate-past president of Capital Alliance of Young Professionals, Inc. and publisher of Tech Professional Magazines. She serves on the Boards of Directors of Hudson Valley Community College Foundation, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Upstate NewYork/Vermont, The Food Pantries, and the Board of Associates of The College of St. Rose.
